How is the Child Support Grant paid to the applicant?
SASSA provides grant payments in four ways to all eligible applicants each month.
- Directly deposit into the applicant’s bank account each month.
- Provide through the SASSA card
- Cash payment at the selected post office
- Transfers through MUKURU, where applicants get payments.

How long will it take to pay the applicant?
The child support grant will be paid to parents each month until and unless the child reaches the age of 18. Once your child reaches the age of 18, his child support grant will be stopped by SASSA.
